Last week I created a Virtual Appliance to speed the deployment of Visual SRM for Email and File Server assessments. This morning I created a video demonstration to show exactly how easy and fast the deployment actually is.

What software did you use to get the screen captures and set the background to show the IP address, hostname, etc… ?

I used bginfo from Microsoft formerly Sysinetnals (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/Miscellaneous/BgInfo.mspx) to set the background information. To record the demo I used Camtasia from TechSmith (http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp). I evaluated a number of screen casting options including options and I believe that Camtasia is by far the best option out there.
